The Albion Town Board
The next regularly scheduled Albion Town Board meeting is Tuesday, August 10 at the Altmar-Albion Municipal Building, 15 Bridge Street, Altmar, New York.
Wednesday, May 12, 2010: Updated hours and contact information for the Albion Town Clerk's office have been posted on the Town Clerk's page.
The office hours for the Albion assessor are 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, and these hours have been posted on the assessor's page.

The Town of Albion has received notice from the state Public Service Commission (PSC) that the PSC is planning changes to the 315 area code. These changes may involve changes to the boundaries of the 315 area code, resulting in new area codes being assigned.

June 2009 : The Public Service Commission has announced that it is putting on hold its proceeding to determine how best to create an additional area code in the 315 area code region.

The Town of Albion Highway Dept. is not responsible for anything damaged this is left in the right-of-way. During snow removal the right-of-way is normally 24 feet 9 inches from the center of the road or 14 feet from the edge of the blacktop. It is a privilege for mail boxes to be in the right-of-way, so please make your mail boxes visible by placing an orange ribbon on a stick or stake at least 36 inches above mail boxes. Orange ribbon will be available at the Town Barn if you don't have any.
